If you are traveling from Queen, you can take the E, F, M, R, N, #7, W, A, J, and Z heading towards Manhattan.

You can also take the Q101, M60, and Q32, and Q60 buses towards Manhattan.

Travelling by car:

  • Get on I-278 E from Pacific St and Bedford Ave
  • Use the right 2 lanes to take exit 35 to merge onto I-495 W toward Midtown Tunnel
  • Continue on to I-278 E.
    Take I-495 W and Queens Midtown Tunnel to Tunnel Exit St in Manhattan

Travelling by train/bus:

If you are travelling from Brooklyn, please take the A, B, C, D, F, J, L, M,N, Q, R, #2, #3, #4, #5 trains towards Manhattan.

The bus B39 always crosses through Brooklyn into Manhattan.

Travelling by car:

  • Get on Sheridan Blvd. from Morris Park Ave and E Tremont Ave
  • Use the right 2 lanes to turn right onto the ramp to Sheridan Blvd.
  • Keep left at the fork, follow signs for Triboro Bridge/Interstate 895 S/Sheridan Expressway
  • Continue on Sheridan Blvd..
  • Take I-278 W to FDR Dr in Manhattan

Traveling by train/bus:

The trains number #1, #2, #4, #5, #6, B and D head into Manhattan
You can also utilize the BX6, BX13, BX15, and B19.

  • Get on I-278 E from Forest Hill Rd and Willowbrook Rd
  • Turn left onto the Interstate 278 E ramp to Verrazano Narrows Br/Brooklyn
  • Continue on I-278 E.
  • Take FDR Dr into Manhattan

Travelling by train/bus:

There are no direct train routes from Staten Island to Manhattan. However, there are two local buses that make a direct connection from Staten Island to Brooklyn, including the S53 and the S79. .
